Hagerty Insurance UK are hosting their annual hill climb event at the historic Shelsley Walsh. Brian will be supporting the team and providing passenger rides up the hill for lucky Hagerty Drivers Club members. A glorious place to spend a day in the Herefordshire countryside.
Who is Brian?
Following a comprehensive rebuild of Dave Russell’s previous BMW E36 warhorse, “Eddie”, he decided to name its reincarnation after his father-in-law. Brian himself was an accomplished racing driver and so it felt a fitting memory for his name to live on in that happy place of motorsport.
Who Are We?
The formation of our team of racers and crew came about through a chance meeting at the 2023 Race of Remembrance (ROR).
After 3 seasons of supporting Mission Motorsport at the ROR, Team Principal Paul Wooding, was approached by Dave Russell to see if we would be interested in using his BMW for the 2024 season.
From this catalyst came the need to form a new team give ourselves a name and more fundamentally give ourselves a purpose that was equally as fulfilling as it had been to support Mission Motorsport.
We therefore set out to create a metaphor for mental fitness and to capture the spirit of the Race of Remembrance;
“Never say die and keep on moving”.
We have also committed to continue giving back to the community that has done so much to help Veterans and their families; Mission Motorsport, the Armed Forces Motorsport Charity who are our chosen charity for 2026.
